The Made in Maui Festival is an annual event hosted by the County of Maui that showcases products developed by local businesses on the islands of Maui, Lanai, and Molokai. Each vendor will be selling products actually made here on Maui and the onolicous grinds (food) must be made with at least 51% of their ingredients sourced locally. This year the festival will be held at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Wailuku on Friday, November 3rd and Saturday, November 4th. This year’s festival will host more than 140 different vendors, including 35 newcomers to the festival, an increase in Maui artisans and vendors from previous years’ events.

Shoppers looking for fewer crowds as well as more product availability will want to visit the festival on Friday. Tickets are $35 for adults 12 and over (children enter free) and the festival will be open from 1pm to 4:30pm, with three food trucks serving food until 5:30pm. The festival is open Saturday from 8am to 4:30pm and will also feature live entertainment all afternoon, with 13 local food trucks serving up Maui-inspired dishes. While each attendee will receive a free festival tote bag, shoppers are encouraged to bring re-useable, eco-friendly bags, as just about every kind of product made on Maui will be featured at the festival. Plan on attending the Festival for an awesome fun time and be sure to mark your calendars or plan a trip to Maui for this event next year!
